We are a small family business who has been operating from Sydney for over fifteen years. When Nuhu (Ali) migrated from Ghana in West Africa he was surprised by the lack of craft from Africa amidst a plethora of Asian art available here. He felt the quality and beauty of the work from his homeland was so beautiful that it needed to be shared with the people of his new country.

Besides, if the craft could be marketed here in Australia, then this would generate much needed income for the artists back home, many of whom are relations and family friends. Money goes directly to them thereby providing equitable and sustainable employment for people in need.

Over the years, the business has expanded and our pieces are now also personally sourced from eastern and southern Africa to create a diverse range of exquisite hand made pieces of art, musical instruments and accessories.

If you live in Sydney then come and see us at Crows Nest Markets on the third Saturday of the month and at Narabeen Berry Reserve, by the lake, on the third Sunday of the month.
We are also usually at Moss Vale showground on the fourth Sunday of the month at the Southern Highlands Country Fair.
You will also find us at most major festivals in and around Sydney.

All works are hand made.
Contact us to find out where we will be next.
